Esa-Pekka Salonen's wielding a different kind of baton next week - he's carrying the Olympic flame through part of the City of London. It's part of his job to promote the Philharmonia in every way possible. And he can do it in a way not many conductors can. Presumably he'll be running fully clothed. For more, read the
